Tr3s presents the “cool list” of millennials by gender

Patricia Molina| 5 de marzo de 2014

Previously a cool list was published of the top 10 trendiest things of the moment as perceived by adult Hispanic millennials, and which produced some key data for marketers. Now, the Tr3s network, working with a sample of millennials between ages 19-34, studies the 2014 results by gender. The presence of Amazon and Netflix shows the growing interest in alternative sources of content, as well as the current attraction of shopping online. But at the same time, in-person socializing and intimate dinners remain popular because connecting with others without the intrusion of technology can lead to romance.Meanwhile, Subway continues being one of the preferred fast-food restaurants.Videogames topped the men’s most-wanted list, followed by playing some sport. None of those options were on women’s preferred list. With regard to shopping, stores came out on top of online purchases for women. Victoria’s Secret took 3rd place, accompanied later by Target, both far outdistancing the use of smartphones. Amazon is in 5th place among women, but was the top retail center for Hispanic men.Coffee shops are important for adult Hispanic millennials for the tasty treats they offer at low cost and as a place to meet up with friends. Hispanic women ranked Starbucks in 10th place on the list of cool things, the same position that the men allotted to Dunkin’ Donuts.
